Custom Labeling.
We
will try and help create any custom label you may want. Below is just a
few ideas, but please do not limit yourself to just those options. Print
this CUSTOM PRINTING FORM and include
with order.
Blank:
This option is
only for those who have a way of printing the labels them selves. You
would need a inkjet printer that prints printable CDs. You could also
write on the CDs surface with a marker. There is no extra charge for blank
CDs.
Text: This method employs your text on a white background.
For example: "Christmas 1966" or "Audio Letter From Chuck While
In Vietnam".
The Reel: The graphic to the right shows a 3" reel used to print
the label.
This technique is a great way to preserve not just the audio but the
visual look of the tape. Your tape's will be scanned so every mark or
lettering would be on the CD. This is also a great way to keep track of
what CD comes from what tape.
The Box: The box i s
similar to the reel but instead of using the reel we scan the box the tape
came to us in. This method is great if loved ones hand writing is on the
outside of the box. As the example on this page shows, this method can
produce very colorful CDs. If you do choose this method please let us know
what side of the box you would like scanned.
Your Photo: This option allows you to send us a photo to be used as
the CD label. But keep in mind there is a big hole in the middle of the CD
so not all photos work well.
The photo to the right is a great example of a photo that worked out
pretty good because of the placement of the subjects, but the one below
shows how a photo that, because of the position of the subject in relation
with the hole had to have some creative scanning done to work out. Keep
this in mind when selecting your photograph. We will return your photo
un-harmed with your tapes and new CDs. Additionally text can be
included on the photo if you desire.
